“A federal appeals court ruled Wednesday that states cannot bar same-sex marriages, overturning Utah’s voter-approved ban against them in a decision that extends a long streak of legal victories for such unions.

Today’s show guest could not be more appropos. Artist Toni Smith creates pieces that promote marriage equality. She’s currently got an exhibit hanging at the Urban Arts Gallery in the Gateway Mall in downtown SLC. The flag above is one of many pieces that commemorate the changing of laws in the USA, toward a state of greater equality.
