What is sanity?
Where is the line between vision and delusion?
Those on the sidelines are always very able to see it, and typically happy to point it out to the so afflicted.
In hindsight, we laud visionaries. We think ourselves clever to see the genius in their brave acts. Yet this is based solely on is our hindsight observation of their success.
Because we think them noble, do we assume that the contemporaries of the visionary thought likewise of them?
And if we do make this assumption, perhaps, when we have our own personal visions, and fail to garner the praise of those around us, how often do we assume our visions to be delusions, merely for lack of approval by our peers?
