From the beginning, the vision of the show has been to create filmed media that provokes people to be more awesome. To live bigger, fuller, more purposeful lives on their own terms – to experience the joy of actively creating one’s own life path. I’ve been producing the show, live on stage every month for the past 18 months. I’ve been producing 6 hours of radio content every week for the past year. It’s time to take things to the screen, and I want your help!
My plan is to build a “studio in a suitcase” – a portable video rig consisting of
3 ultra compact cameras,
…LED panel lighting,
… and microphones.
This whole kit will fit into one case…
…that I can quickly set up in any location here in Salt Lake City, easily put in the car or an airplane to conduct interviews in any city here on Spaceship Planet Earth without the need of additional crew. It’s quick, efficient, and will create good quality video.
The resulting recorded shows will be broadcast on terrestrial and cable TV in the SLC market, and most importantly – will be on YouTube where they can be viewed anytime, by anyone in our world wide audience (yes – we have fans in every corner of the globe).
In the next couple of weeks, I’ll be announcing a Kickstarter campaign to raise the funds to purchase the above mentioned video gear.
