The Toros

THE TOROS

The Toros were a pop-punk band that experienced an incarnation in Salt Lake City from 2009 – 2011.  The brainchild of singer / front man/ lyricist Zak Kindrachuk, The Toros were known for songs about political pundits, women we shouldn’t be dating, the Tea Party, and being gay (though nobody in the band was gay).  One record reviewer said, “The Toros know no censure”.  Though we played many venues in SLC, including Liquid Joes, The Woodshed, Bar Deluxe, and Kilby Court, Burt’s Tiki Lounge was really our home stage.   Band members: (from left to right, in the drawing:  Vocals –  Zak Kindrachuk;  Guitar – Mike Higgins;  Drums-  Monica Traphagan; Bass- Paul Duane.
